Feeling the Bust – III
Looting Funds. Money Laundering. Fraud. These ludicrous accusations were what Jeff Weaver came up with to ‘expose’ the Clinton campaign. Of course nothing illegal was exposed, it was just another low in the smear campaign that has become the trademark of Bernie & Co.
Who exactly is this mysterious Jeff Weaver? One can’t find much of substance on Senator Sanders’ former driver and office boy, who worked himself up to become the Senator’s chief of staff. He appears to be a querulant suspended from Boston University, who hung out with Bernie for a while, then needed a break from The Hill and opened a comic book store in Virginia. There he became the proud owner of a rare comic collection, that included ‘obscure items such as an American Cancer Society-funded cartoon about a quack doctor named Phineas P. Fraud’. (That must have been a source of inspiration.)
Then Bernie called upon him once more, this time to become his campaign manager for the presidential election 2016. Somehow my gut tells me that Sen. Sanders never really had the ambition to become the 45th president of the United States of America, but found himself a campaign leader who did aspire to the power of bringing his old pal to the highest office in this world. That might explain why the Senator himself usually limits himself to uncomfortably mocking his opponent and leaving the outright slander to his disciples.
Hillary Clinton doesn’t play that game. She could have easily played dirty and mean, and boy, would she have had plenty of ammo to expose!
